The Big Reveal and Fudge!

I had my ultrasound appointment bright and early at 8:30 a.m.  The tech started at my baby's head and worked her way down.  She made sure everything looked good and praise God it did.  Finally, she asked if we wanted to "know."  I was wiping tears from seeing my baby's profile and they flowed again when she said.. "it's a boy!"  So Madison was right all along!

Jason and I drove separately because I had a few stops to make on my way home.  First I had to get Madison a gift from Baby Boy G for Christmas.  (We don't have a name for Baby G, however, we will keep it a secret until he's born just like we did for Madison!)

Then I ran to Wal-Mart to pick up Baby G's own Christmas tree to match Madison's for next year (but in a shade of blue of course!)...

My final stop was to pick up blue ribbon for the cookie exchange I helped to host last night.

I made the easiest fudge in the world.  My mom always made it growing up.

1 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 10 oz package peanut butter chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Melt peanut butter chips with a little less than half the can of sweetened condensed milk over medium low heat.  Once smooth pour into a 9X9 inch glass dish lined with wax paper.  Spread with a spatula until evenly spread over dish.  Next, melt chocolate chips and the remainder of the sweetened condensed milk.  Pour over the peanut butter mixture and spread evenly.  Allow it to cool completely and then cut into squares.  I then put the dish in the fridge and break apart after a few hours.  YUMMY!!

My taste tester....
